SING IN THE MUSIC ACADEMY CHOIR!
By joining our choir, students will have the unique opportunity to work closely with their peers, developing essential musical collaboration and teamwork skills.
They will learn how to harmonize their voices, blend seamlessly with others, and appreciate the subtle art of listening within an ensemble setting. Additionally, this choir will offer a comprehensive exploration of music theory and sight-reading.
Participants will dive into the intricacies of reading musical notation, understanding rhythms and dynamics, and grasping the theoretical underpinnings that make music come alive.
This is more than just a chance to sing; it’s an invitation to immerse oneself in the joy of music-making, deepen one’s musical knowledge, and grow as a versatile musician.
Join us in this exciting new chapter at Music Academy! They will have many opportunities to perform at Music Academy of Acadiana's seasonal recitals! All performances are free admission.
Classes will be once a week for 45 minutes!
These classes will cost less than taking private lessons! (We also have family pricing options for those with more than 1 young aspiring musicians!)
Tuition: $80/month
We will have 2 ensembles:
Little Voices (ages 6-12): Mondays 6:30pm-7:15pm
Rising Voices (ages 12-18):
Mondays 7:15pm-8:00pm *Rehearsals will take place at Riverside Church (next to Music Academy)
