It's our show now, kid. The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.
With music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominee Eddie Perfect and a book by Tony Award-nominated pair Anthony King and Scott Brown, Beetlejuice was nominated for eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical. A viral "sucks-yes" on social media, this musical struck a chord with young theatre lovers who adored its unabashed humor and emotional honesty.

Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Enroll them in the Summer Camps hosted by The Music Academy of Acadiana!
Over the span of 3 weeks, Lafayette, LA campers will learn dancing /choreography, vocals / music, acting / scene work, and even a little arts & crafts.
The camp schedule will be:
BeetleJuice JR: Mondays – Fridays from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM with snacks provided.
*Music Academy of Acadiana for first week - then Cite Des Arts for the remaining 2 weeks!
For the week of the show there will be extra dress rehearsal times, which will be announced on performance week.
Musical performances will be held at the Cite’ Des Arts In Downtown Lafayette during the final weekend of each camp.
Campers will receive a goodie bag, cast shirts and more!
Forever memories will be made here, and kids will get so much experience and knowledge about stage performance and musical theater!

Where: 3 Week Camp - 9 am - 3 pm
(First week will be at Music Academy of Acadiana / Riverside church (next to the Music Academy), then Cites Des Arts for the remaining two weeks of camp!)
Finding Nemo Kids
When: July 7th - 26th
Where: 3 Week Camp - 9 am - 2 pm
(First 2 weeks will be at Music Academy of Acadiana / Riverside church (next to the Music Academy), then Cites Des Arts for the remaining week of camp!)
Performances at the conclusion of the camp @ Cite' Des Arts in Lafayette on the Friday and Saturday of the final weekend of each camp.
Each camper gets a T-Shirt, Goodie bag, snacks served each day and an amazing and fun camp that culminates in live stage performances!
