Ryan Cazares & Lafayette Community M.I.Brary
It's our honor and pleasure to recognize Dr. Ryan Cazares for his philanthropic efforts and contributions not only for The Music Academy, but for the Acadiana and South Louisiana music scene as a whole!
Through Dr. Cazares's efforts - Lafayette now has a go-to resource for music instruments, specifically for those in need of an instrument, with his founding of the Lafayette Community MiBrary. He has been a leader in keeping local music alive and thriving through collaborations with musicians, venues and charity organizations here in South Louisiana.
We here at the Music Academy of Acadiana strongly believe and strive to foster the emerging musicians of tomorrow and having a dedicated practice space at our school has proven vital for performance rehearsals.
We are thrilled to unveil the brand new wall signs commemorating Dr. Cazares's efforts and have renamed the big room in his honor!
THANK YOU, Dr. Cazares! It is through efforts from people like yourself, that the dream of music can become a reality for anyone. We know that Louisiana is a special community and you are a shining light and exemplary role model for all musicians, entrepreneurs and people that enjoy and have a passion for keeping music and the arts alive!
