STUDENT OF THE MONTH

1) Tell us about yourself!

I’m trying guitar for the third time… the first was when I was 10 and I didn’t realize practice wasn’t punishment, the second at about 35 but I ended up starting grad school (seminary) and dropped out, and now, as I’m rapidly approaching one of those “big, round birthdays”. It’s something I have always wanted to do and I am so excited to be learning!!

2 What is your favorite hobby? Outside of playing guitar, it’s a toss up between writing, travel, and woodworking

3) What got you interested in music? I have been drawn to music as long as I can remember, but was always waiting for someone to affirm it in me. I guess I finally decided that someone could be me!

4) What has been the biggest thing you've discovered since starting music lessons with us? That the learning curve is steep but joyful.

5) What is one of your life goals? To be able to express myself musically

6) Anything else you would like to mention? Nick is the best! He meets me wherever I want to go with enthusiasm and encouragement.
