STUDENT OF THE MONTH

1) Tell us about yourself! - Born in Columbus, Ohio but have lived in Lafayette for 10 years.  Currently in 7^th Grade at Cathedral Carmel.  I have 3 dogs and 2 guinea pigs.

2 What is your favorite hobby? Playing flute

3) What got you interested in music? I loved playing the recorder in 4^th grade and my music teacher suggested I might enjoy playing the flute.  He was right!

4) What has been the biggest thing you've discovered since starting music lessons with us? How much more I can learn with weekly lessons instead of only participating in band at school.

5) What is one of your life goals? Become a musician or music teacher.

6) What would you tell a friend about the Music Academy of Acadiana? That the teachers are really committed to their students and teaching music.
